Teresa is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of GoSilico. She holds a Diploma in meteorology and a PhD in applied mathematics. During her studies and her PhD Teresa used to simulate weather and climate phenomena. Since she co-founded GoSilico, she is now simulating chromatography. In fact, simulating reality is her childhood-dream.
For her, not only the future of downstream process development lies in silico, but probably also reality: As stated by Nick Bostrom in his simulation hypothesis, she is convinced that it is more likely that we all live in an artificial simulation than not. In real-world or in silico, she is responsible for quality management and communication at GoSilico.
