GoSilico at PREP Symposium 2017
From July 16th to 19th GoSilico was invited to present one of its recent success stories on how mechanistic chromatography modeling supports biopharmaceutical process development at the PREP symposium in Philadelphia (PA, USA).
Within his talk entitled “When DoE Fails: Mechanistic Modeling for Chromatographic Manufacturability” Thiemo Huuk presented a joint process development project with one of the major global pharma companies. For the presented development task of purifying an antibody on an ion-exchange adsorber, a Design of Experiments (DoE) study failed to identify a technical and economical feasible process. Based on GoSilico’s ChromX software we were able to identify a process, satisfying our customer’s.
We are very pleased and honored about the extensive positive feedback to our technology. “As in the previous years, the PREP symposium was again one of the most outstanding conferences in chromatography. I really enjoyed the great selection of talks and the fruitful discussions with participants from academia and industry”, said Thiemo.
