GoSilico presents model-based process development at IFPAC
On February 14th, 2018, GoSilico presented recent success stories of a model-based process development at the renowned IFPAC conference in North Bethesda (MD, USA).
This year’s conference of the International Forum on Process Analytical Chemistry (IFPAC) was dedicated to “Advancing the Understanding & Control of Manufacturing Processes” and focused on the topics “Facilitating Innovation, Data Integrity/Reliability, and Advanced Manufacturing”. Numerous talks thereby highlighted the benefits and need for a digital transformation of the pharmaceutical industry.
Different than other conferences, participants and speakers were not only from industry and academia, but also from regulatory authorities. In particular, a large number of representatives of the US Food and Drug administration (FDA) gave valuable insights into drug approval processes.
“It was a great honor to be invited to this outstanding conference! What a great chance to present our simulation technology, that perfectly fits into the perspective of an emerging digitalization of the pharma sector”, said Thiemo Huuk.
